CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
STRENGTH & SPORT CONDITIONING COACH

With over 19 years of experience as a certified personal trainer, Rob has dedicated his career to helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. His passion for fitness began in high school, where he excelled as a competitive athlete. This drive led him to pursue a career in personal training, earning his certification in 2006. He later expanded his expertise by obtaining diplomas in Recreation and Leisure (Therapeutic Recreation) and Business from Mohawk College.

After graduating, Rob moved to Vancouver, B.C., where he worked as a personal trainer in a high-volume downtown gym while also consulting for a fitness equipment company. In 2012, he returned to Ontario to further his education in the Health, Wellness, and Fitness program at Mohawk College. During this time, he honed his skills under industry-leading professors and gained hands-on experience as a Strength Coach for Mohawk College's varsity teams. He also worked with local sports teams, aspiring police officers in the Police Foundations Program, and was an active member of the Mohawk College Students Association and Athletics Association.

From 2014 to 2018, Rob worked across the GTA as a personal trainer, strength coach, and department head at an athletic performance academy. In 2017, he relocated to Barrie, where he built a reputation as an independent personal trainer before founding Iron Realm Fitness in 2020.

Rob’s philosophy is simple: personal training should be truly personal. He believes in providing a high-quality, training experience tailored to each client’s unique needs. His approach goes beyond physical fitness—he emphasizes mental and emotional well-being, ensuring his clients receive the support they need to thrive both inside and outside the gym.

Michaela’s approach to training is rooted in transformation—physical, mental, and personal. A certified personal trainer with a background in Fitness and Health, she combines evidence-based methods with a grounded, human perspective on progress.

Her journey began not as a trainer, but as a client—learning firsthand what it means to start from scratch and create lasting change. That experience taught her that real progress comes from consistency, self-awareness, and the willingness to evolve.

 

Since 2021, Michaela has worked in the fitness industry, refining her craft through hands-on experience and continuous learning. With a strong foundation in exercise science, nutrition, and health behavior, she helps people build strength, improve body composition, and develop the kind of discipline that carries beyond the gym.

 

For Michaela, training isn’t about extremes—it’s about balance, confidence, and the quiet power that comes from showing up for yourself every day.
