Dr. Chris Duffey
Dr. Christopher Duffey has over a decade of experience in the health industry.
Beginning in his youth, Dr. Chris was always involved in organized sport where he
played competitive hockey, baseball, and lacrosse as well as recreationally in many
other sports. His love and passion for sport led him to become a personal trainer. Dr.
Chris graduated with honours from the Health, Wellness, and Fitness program at
Mohawk College and worked as a personal trainer for several years. He was the lead
trainer for the varsity men’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams. Following his
graduation, he then worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in the program in assisting in many
classes including Fitness Assessments, Aerobic Prescription, Strength Prescription, and
Group Fitness.
Dr. Chris then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from Brock
University, graduating with honours. Whilst at Brock, his thirst for knowledge led him to
complete an undergraduate thesis that explored the impact of stroke severity on
movement patterns and muscle activation.
Following Brock University, Dr. Chris then graduated summa cum laude from the Doctor
of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Chris
provides an evidence-based and patient-centered chiropractic approach. He believes
that being up to date with current research and literature is of utmost importance and
that patient education is vital.
From Dr. Chris’ experiences, he has developed a sound understanding of human
kinetics that he applies to his individualized protocols. He always aims to work
collaboratively with his patients to get them back to doing what they love.
